This stuff grew in the past 2 days, not sure if i should be concerned with anything. it's growing on the inside walls of the tank, all the way around, and on top of the sand.

PS. Yes the outside of the glass is dirty i did a water change and never got a chance to wipe it down yet, so shush :grinyes:

Looks like diatoms to me (a brown 'dust' like algae). If your tank is relatively new, under 6 months old, its normal to get cycles of different algae growth. If your params are good and your nitrate / phosphate levels are low it should gradually disappear, although you'll always have a bit of algae in the tank.

Snails will eat diatoms and so will Bicolor Blennys, my Bicolor loves the stuff.

Thanks, although the tank has been setup for over a year, hmm maybe just another stage it's going through, i checked my par. and all is well, thank you!

Just keep an eye on it, at the moment it just looks like a normal increase in algae that should go away. I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts spreading everywhere.
