i would like to know what kind of cichlid this is and where it originated from? thanx to anyone who can help.

Looks like a Dickfeldi Cichlid. its alittle difficult to tell from the pic.......

It looks like a young, or female Melanochromis auratus.

Now I can see why it is the Melano...the first picture was a little blurry and looked like the dickfeldi...thanx for adding the second pix....

Pagan is right....

if you look closley i think its an auratus because of the yellow on it, yes:iagree:
