Is it possible to find any wild caught or F1 F2
Microgeophagus ramirezi

I have had pretty good luck with my germans but would love to get some real wild strain ones i hear they are much better parents not so disease prone and i just like th idea of having fish that actually look like they are supposed to:)

Page with the blue rams in question (http://209.246.162.113/products/list.cfm?CategoryID=50)
I saw this website and it says that the Blue rams they have are Wild in origin but some how i doubt it since they are only 4.99.

Thanks for any help

I don't necessarily think that they are lying...it looks like all theo ther ones are listed as being from whence they normally come.

I trust that site for the most part. I checked other fish to make sure that they were wild-caught (as they are never bred in ponds nor tanks), and they, without question, were wild-caught. (They did have fish mislabeled as GTs, but everyone else does, so that's beside the point!)

mrk442... could you let me know when you get those ram's if you are still getting them and tell me what your water's ph and dh is and how the fish are doing after about a week or so. I am highly anticipating on getting some and want to hear some first hand feedback about them.
