hey guys!

Uhh for my 55 reef that will have sofies and sps corals would 4x 54w VHO 10,000K Daylight bulbs and 2x Atinic bulbs be ok for sps corals and softies.

LPS corals for sure. Softies for sure. SPS maybe. What wattage are the actinics?

I'm guessing the actinic are 54w.

And I have the same set up on my 55 and I'm afraid to attempt SPS .. If you do try SPS do one piece and maybe if you put it close to the top you might be ok ... you let me know how it goes though and if it works for you then i'll try as well.

These are T-5's right? If so you, 54w is HO, FYI. Are you planning on parabolic reflectors?

That's what I was thinking, but probably tough to fit 6 T5's across a 55 gallon... unless it is a single reflector like the nova. I think most parabolic reflectors are between 2.5" and 2.75". With T5, parabolic reflectors are a must have.

sorry guys i should have been more clearer, atincis are 54 there will be reflectors and for sps i would put near the top
