Anyone know a sure fire way to sex German Blue Rams?
I read an article out on the internet that states: If the black spot on the side has blue specs in or around it it is a female. Anyone know that to be true or not

Males have a brighter pink belly. Also, the dorsal fin spike nearest to their head stands up higher than the rest. Where as on the female it's almost level with the other spikes.

...mine does. It's brighter pink than the female's.

ETA: I've seen them spawning so I know which is which. Are mine just freaks? That's how the LFS identifies them, and their male in their display tank has a bright pink belly as well.

Females should have brighter pink bellies, not the males. Males can have pink bellies but the coloration is more predominant in the female's. Pics?
