Female Fiddler Crab NASTY

Hello,

Recently my female fiddler crab has started to FOAM through all of the crevaces (sp) in her body. Then she proceeds to "wash" herself with her limbs in the foam.

What does that mean?

She's trying to attract a male, if there was a male they'd breed. I think the foam is unfertilized eggs.

Well I don't know if they were eggs, but after I got her she layed something. They looked like small green gel tablets. When I got back home, she ate them all!

I do have a male in the tank and its fun watching the male woo the female by waving his big claw.

How do they get feritized?

try seperating the female from her eggs after she lays them, so she doesn't eat them. Leave the male to fertalize them.
