Its got an Orange head and a blue body with vertical stripes. It looks like a Tropheus?

I dont see the orange heard or the yellow stripes =/
the fish in the pick has the shape of a mbuna it looks like to me but that is as close as i could get

just saw some pictures of tropheus and it could indeed be one.
Plus i cant thnk of any Mbuna that have that sort of darkish base color. if you go the www.cichlid-forum.com. go to their retail reviews page and find the link for JD tropheus they have some good picks of many diffrent species that might help you ID it:)

no, thats definitely not a tropheus. Tropheus have a very different mouth shape. It looks like a large maylandia crabro. But its definitely a mbuna.

My vote is what used to be called Pseudotropheus microstoma. Unfortunately, I can't find a picture online. Has the same shape, small mouth and orange head. Maybe P. tropheops.
They're right, it's not a Tropheus species.
