ok ive had this plant for a few months in my plant and i think its dying, I really love it its really intresting. can anyone give me any tips on getting it healthy.
it is in a community tank well stocked
i use Flourish iron once a week
my lighting is very basic just flourescant lights in standard fittings, probably about 50watt or so. i just want to save this plant even if i need to take it out of the tank

Do you have it in the substrate, or on rock/wood? Mine is on a chunk of driftwood, and grows quite fast there. I don't think it would do very well in the substrate. It is prone to a bit of algae, but never enough to cause a problem.

yes it is on the substrat at the moment, i dont have any real drift wood only artificial if i tried tying it to a piece of that do you think it would be ok or do i need to invest in some of the good stuff?

It should be able to atach itself to just about anything--wood is easiest, but a rock or plastic would do as well. Main thing is to get the roots exposed.
