With Micro Sword plants - can I accelerate the spread of the plant by separating it into shoots and planting several shoots grouped together around the tank instead of all bunched up together in one mass?
Together or individually will work probably equally as well if they are getting enough light. I just had a couple of patches planted on one side of my tank that was shaded by a large Amazon Sword. They did nothing. I moved them to the other side of the tank and they are throwing plantlets all over the place. The difference is that they were no longer shaded from the light.

From my experioence planting them in a checkerboard pattern works the best. Same with glosso
