I don't have to deal with this yet, but the way my coraline has taken off has got me thinkin'...
I really don't like the way tanks look when the coraline is building up in patches on the back. It makes tanks look dirty, IMO, because it reminds me of nasty algae blooms. My opinion may change when it comes time for me to try to remove it, but my question is, how do I get rid of it? Is it a lost cause? Is it one of those things that we just deal with in a reeftank, or is it personal preference?
I know I need some sort of plastic scraper to scrape stuff off the acrylic, but will that be enough to remove coraline? I've been looking around (admittedly not very hard) for such a scraper and haven't found anything overly exciting yet. What do YOU use, or do you just ignore it? Thanks!!
