Here's my tank. I took down the reef and am going planted. Flourite substrate, pressure CO2 and T-5 & VHO lighting. I got the plants and just stuck them in to see how they'd grow. This is by no means the final layout - more or less just a nursery.

There will be a few shoals of different tetras, hatchets, rams and corys.

What are you using with your CO2? which regulator? meter(s)? reactor? diffuser?

I just emailed a local welding supply place to find out about renting a cylinder. Of course, I need to see about everything else I need. I read some of the information on Rex's site, but was confused as to what I have to have and what is optional.

how do you keep your anacharis down?

I'm using this regulator:
http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=RF-CO2-REG&Category_Code=co2units

and this reactor
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=15524&N=2004+113779

That's it. I use a test kit for pH and kH which, along with the chart on this page http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_co2chart.htm gives me an idea what my CO2 level is.

I just jammed them down in the substrate and they haven't moved.
