chilidawg and others...

i have recently joined the forum here and was interested in finding online fish sales as my lfs is teribly expensive and has very little choice.....

i checked the sites chili dawg had listed and found the aquiariumstuffers to be very reasonable in shipping and fish prices also they gave a pretty good description of the fish...

has any purchased from them?????????
please reply asap if you can.....

thanks
ellie (pennykat)

I actually have no experience with buying fish, but I like the information given by Aquarium Stuffers on their site. They took the time to do that aspect right. They are a newer store, just opened in January or February, but their arrival was widely anticipated and I think that they have been greeted warmly by hobbyists everywhere. mrk442 is about to buy wild-caught Rams from them, so if you don't hear from anyone else, pm him and ask how that's going.

P.S. It is nice to see my name as someone that you're seeking to get answers from, even though I couldn't help much this time! :)

And I just found that they had the incorrect generic name for that fish. I can't find any better info than that, though. Anyone ever kept a Giant Oto?

:D Thank you CHILDAWG.....lol i will try to spell it right.....
i am serious about this as the prices and shipping are really wonderful...they have some different kinds of fish there also and do give a great description of size, feed, conditions and this i think is very important as i do not have very large tanks etc and do now want to overstock or buy things that will outgrow my tanks.......by the way i do use bio-spira on my new tanks and love it....................no patience for fishless cycling....lol but my fish that i have now in my older tank are happy and seem healthy.....no fish losses since i bought them so i a pleased and proud of that, but i do do a lot of maintenance....my only problem is feeding them....i find i cannot do the 30 second as i have mostly bottom feeders and it takes a while for some of them to get their share but i do try to be careful and i make them fast on sunday...tanks looks clear and tests are great...so..........
