Here are a couple of pics of my wifes tank. The goldfish is not my style but it was her class pet.

What size tank is that? Get the goldfish it's own place, it can't live in tropical temperatures, and that tank looks way too small for it.
 
I agree with you 100%. But this is his home, I may get a bigger tank but it will be to replace this one.. He has been living in warm water for over a year now..
 
Depends on how warm the water is. NOT all goldfish are strictly cold water. The Fancy varieties can take temps in the mid 70s though lower 70s are more preferable.
