Help Lighting

I just got in a new tank that came in with the lighting looks in bad shape. anyway it has 4 Vho a Ice cap ballast. I took out the Flourecent bulbs to clean them and reconnected them and now only two flicker on then turn off and the others two just wont turn on i checked all the wiring but nothing seems lose or out of place what could be my problem

Check the fixture sockets for corrosion and/or salt build up and clean if necessary.

You could take it to the LFS and see if they can help, but sometimes they don't like helping with items you didn't purchase from them.

See if they can put your bulbs in a working fixture to see if the bulbs are good or not. This will rule out whether it is the bulbs or the ballast.

Try moving the bulbs to different sockets and make sure the sockets are securely on.

After that, I would start with new bulbs first as you probably need to replace them anyway.

This is a used tank correct?

Yea i got a 90 gallon wit the lighting for 100 bucks

Those $100 deals are great. I got my 75 and 90 that way too.
