Had these "suckers" (lol) for about 3 weeks now, usually give them cucumber or zucchini every third - fourth day. They don't touch it until its been in there for at least 10-12 hrs - usually they take turns today I noticed all three were oto'ing-out so I snapped a few quick pics.

As you can see they are getting pretty plump on all the algae, but they took a break from it to snack on their cucumber - they love it!

While I see many hoof prints going into the valley, I see none leaving.

I mean I can't see your pic :D

edit : hey there they are. Very nice - cute little buggers

Those are some fat lil buggers! I'm going to stop at the store later and get some for mine; the 2 or 3 out of 5 that are alive. Lost 2 for sure maybe 3. Can only find 2 alive and 2 dead.

great!

Did you blanch it at all? Do they eat it all, and how long do you leave it in for (total)? Do you get a better response form the cucumber or the zucchini?

Thanks.

Yes, it's blanched. No "they" dont eat it all - I leave it in for about 18-24hrs - they dont seem to touch it the first 10-12 hrs. They seem to like cucumber better than zucchini; but I've only tried the later once.

I give the other half to my pleco (different tank) - he hollows his piece out over night.

Our pleco's tear up cucumbers, and will naw on them all night, we just put them in there seeds and all, unfortunately they are getting spoiled and neglecting the algae, so we cut them off for awhile to get caught up on the little bit of algae on the rocks, our cichlids also peck at them for a snack...:)
