mine will climb the tank wall to the top and then hang out there eating the algae on the lid and then drop down and eat stuff off the rocks..they are odd little creatures.
Mine does nothing. It was in the middle of my tank out front when I got it. And then it moved into a little cave and has not moved. I had to move it once to get at some stuff once, and it just moved right back.
they typically reach about 6 inches but usually no more than 4 and at a rate of fractions of an inch a year.
6-7 full grown in nature...but typically in aquaria they only get to about 4...like most captive animals they dont grow as large as they could.Huh? so is it 4 or 6 inches?
