Hi All,
Can anyone advise me if the attached (not very good photo) are Baddie Hydroids? there is a cluster on my 5 week live rock installation they are the light brown objects approx a quarter of an inch tall at present... like miniature Palm trees.
Thanks in anticipation.
And best regards all Geofrs
Hi, these are a bonus, from the picture i would say they are a form of xenia
Great addition to any tank.

The bottom left corner, in the back there is apitasia. Those are bad. You need to shoot them with some boiling water. They will sting your corals.

Yep, sorry missed those, they are Bad.
I used the small thin shringe out of a salerfet Kh test kit with the long dropper on the end and as said fired in boilling hot water.

Both appear to be xenia to me. No need to kill what not bad. Plus, you can always sell of the xenia when it grows (like a weed, fortunately)

The one in the bottom left is not Xenia. I am 99% sure. I am pretty new as well, but the ones in the bottom left corner in the back that are solo are apitasia/glass anemones.
