My subrate is 40-50% Eco Complete and 50-60% inert natural gravel 1-3mm. I have 320 watts of 6500K Philips on my 6' 110ish tank.
The two bunches of ludwigia, two bunches of temple, and the cabomba are exhibiting disintegrating stems. The radicans are showing a lot of new growth and some of the leaves are enormous. The anubias barteri are looking quite good. The anacharis have grown 3-5" in the past week. The moneywort seem to be doing well too.
What is it that causes stem disintegration?
I'm guessing it is low nutrients and low CO2. I'm not really that worried about it since I'll have my regulator and tank within the week and will build and add my reactor. I ordered the $13 fertilizer pack from Rex as well.
I'd just like to be sure that there's not something else I should be considering.
