Just bought 2 clown loaches for my 55 gallon. These guys are very cool, I think I'll get really attached to them. They're just about inch and half now. And they are very very active running all up and down the glass. Anyone out there that has them, do they have a favorite food?

I read up on clown loaches and most people say they should be kept in a school of 6 or more. They are very interesting fish :)
My Clowns tend to eat whatever I put in the tank for my other fish. I often feed them Shrimp pellets and they seem to really like freeze-dried bloodworms.

You should get a fw more, like 2 or 3 because they like to be together in a large group. But I agree, they are very cool I am going to get some for my soon-to-be 72g tank.

I have room for 2 more. I'll get them next weekend, and i gave them some bloodoworm frozen drops today and they loved them.

not sure if you have a small tank, or large jar you could use, but if you get hold of some small pond snails you could get to breed, they love them ) I had a major snail infestation before I got my clowns, they had a blast taking care of it.. they dont do as well with the Malasian trumpet snails, but the pond snails ))
