just took a quick glance, and it sounds like a neat tank. the only thing i'd do is add more of almost everything!! well, everything that's schooling anyway. 3 zebras? 2 neons? etc. etc. more, more!! esp. zebras because they're so hardy and cheap. i can get them at 3/1.99 around here anyway. cheaper if it's a sale day.
well, any of those anyway. if i didn't have pokey and whaley (my supercharged growing sun cats that eat anything less than 1.5 inches as of now), i'd have a school of some 30 of a small fish. it makes them look so much cooler, basically. :) i think anyways.
also: 1 yoyo? 1 zebra loach? more!!
as for the loaches....mine are just happier with their friends. i have 4 yoyos and 5 skunks currently, and they're pleased as pie. so to speak. they always seem to be playing tag or hide and seek or some dancing loach equivalent. i think they become more outgoing and entertaining when in groups.
as for plants, they sound great! i have about a dozen corkscrew vals in the foreground of one of my tanks, and it looks really swell.

Sounds pretty good! I would suggest getting at least 4 of all the tetras! Tetras are also a schooling fish and should be in groups! People say you should have at least 6, I find 4+ is good though! I agree with the alst comment to you need more fish for the schooling fish except for the tetras that you have 7 of! Other then that sounds great! Got any pics?

Thanks! No other pics yet. I'm not knocking your suggestions, just justifying my actions...
-My 2 neons hang with my 7 cardinals, otherwise I'd ditch 'em.
-I had 6 danios (like a year ago) but they were so rambunctious, they would harass others in the tank. I know more should keep the "aggression" within the school, but that wasn't the case. Although, that was in my 55g, not the 90 so maybe...?
-again with the yo-yo, I had 2, 1 picked on the other so I traded it back and got the zebra. Now they're pals. But if they'd be happier with more...?
I'm still contemplating going with 2 groups of schooling fish but there are so many fish and so little time.
I'm a little reluctant to add more fish. I would rather be understocked than over. They're not shy fish and the tank looks active enough.
And I know each tank is personal but I like others' opinions. Thanks again!

neons and cardinals. sounds good.
zebras can be like that, understood.
i would think that the loaches would enjoy more company based on my experience...even if you added 2 or 3 of either/or. they don't get especially huge anyway. i've always read loaches do best in trios or more to avoid nipping and such.
