it may be too late...lol..but I recommend doing it outside....on a gas grill

too late. I boiled it 3 individual times, now it's soaking in cold water with stress coat.
I also made progress on setting up... my office is slowly becoming a tank room!

I think my throat is still irritated from the woody steam. I feel like I smoked a hundred cigars or something.

I now have 3 tanks in my office, but only 2 filled. the tall tank is going to be a new vivarium, with about 9 gallons of water. the reflection is my 20 gallon vivarium, which is destined for a tear down and redo, because I made a lot of mistakes setting it up.
