need filter

I'm looking for an internal filter that will work in a 29 gal. planted (not heavily but not lightly) tank. I need something that isn't high maintenance and not expensive. I'm sure this question has been asked before so maybe someone could direct me to that thread.

if your not going to add co2 get a AC filter.

I'm not sure about co2 yet but I would like to try using live plants so co2 may be needed. what's an ac filter?

aqua clear.

if your going to do plants your best bet would be a canister or like RB said Powerhead driven sponge.

Yep, i also agree with the powerhead driven sponge. That way, your Co2 wont be diffused at the surface, like it is with powerfilters.
