fishless cycle

Hi
i wont to now if it's necessary to put sum bacteria source
in the tank to start a fishless cycle, or it can bee formed from the
water when i add the ammonia.

If your water is really bad than it can be from the ammonia (in that case, don't do water changes with that water!!!), otherwise, some store bought shrimp or even some fish food will do the trick.

gravel if i bring gravel from other tank it work like bacteria
source, and how much is enugh?
