I just want everyone to know that today I bought a ctenopoma acutirostre, and she is the cutest, most elegant, beautiful little fish EVER.

my cameras not working - google image search if you care to

seriously. they dont swim like normal fish. they sort of levitate

cool fish, i have one also. did you get it at pets mart?

Nice looking.

Got 2 of them in my 75 gallon. They started off not buch bigger then a quarter and are 4 and 5 inches each now. One will eat anything I stick in the tank. The smaller one prefers live and frozen foods.

any aggressiveness with them, ICE?

What size of tank are the bushfish in? They do tend to somewhat aggressive and also tend to eat fish that are smaller than them. They are also called African (or spotted) leaf fish by some of the suppliers, and ocassionally called spotted climbing perch as well.

Well, that makes it pretty confusing, eh?

Wow, those really are beautiful!
