I am looking to purchase a 29 gallon biocube to make a saltwater tank in. Is there a skimmer that i can put in the back of it? Also should I use the bio bals that come in them or should I remove them and put rubbel from the LFS in there? Thanks.

First off, yes there is a skimmer for the tank. You can find on at www.nanotuners.com (http://www.nanotuners.com) . CPR aquatics has also recently released one specifically for the biocube.
If you want a reef, do not use the bioballs. I don't think LR rubble works either. Unless the rock is completely submerged, it's going to act pretty much the same as any other porous biomedia (ceramic rings, Matrix, etc.). Put the rock in the tank, and use the filter space for carbon, anti-phosphate media, etc.

personally (and this is just in my experience) biocube is on the lower end of the scale quality wise for cube setups, i know, i have one. i've seen red sea cubes and they are alot better, more conveinent, and simpler to use. also (no idea what the name actually is) but something like jbj cubes are pretty good, they are alittle more expensive than the bio cube but worth it IMHO. but that choise is still and only upto you.
as per your questions, yes there are skimmers that can attach tothe back but you may need to saw one of the opening open more to letthe tube out. there are two outlets for the ballasts for the lights and the return pump from the back of the tank you'g just need to hacksaw a larger hole or a new one and the skimmer will fit.
and for the LR in the sump, yes it's much better than bioballs, doesn't jam up with wastes like bioballs, andadd copes and pods if they don't egt destroyed in the return pump.
