I can't help you much from that description...
Any updates? How's it doing and eating?

it's doing good and still eating ,talk to someone at dr frostersmith a tech and they said that it was hole in head came from the heater (not sure)said that it was giving off some kind of electric charge(said from extremly small crack in glass of heater)and that I needed to give metronidazole and antiboic for two weeks and it should be fine but will take a while for the sore to clear up,well not sure but since I qt it the sore has began to scale off so maybe there is something to it if I could I would post some pics so that everyone would know what hole in head really looks like ,will let you know how things go forgot she said to change the heater before putting the coral back in to tank

That is so wrong it's not even funny... For one, Hole int he heaad is not actualy a disease, but a condition that arizes out of dietary deficiences... those products will not help a fish with lateral line erosion/hole in the head... Why would you use an antibiotic when there is no bacteria that needs to be eliminated!? Your best off to forget what they told you...
Did you check the link I gave you to confirm that it is hole in the head?
I'd also check this one http://wetwebmedia.com/hllefaqs.htm

yes I did and I'm still not sure, checked the link webmedia and my coral doesn't have the lateral line just the sore on it's head and I know it sounds crazy about the heater but only said what they told me and it's hard for me to believe all so but I'm at a loss trying to find out what it is and how to cure it so I will welcome any infor that I can get thanks

Is the sore concave or puffy like a tumor?
