i have 2 emerald crabs. one is significantly smaller than the other. i call the big one the boy and the small one the girl tho i really have no idea how to sex them... well tonight i watched "the boy" chase down "the girl" flip her over and get up on top of her and... well... hump her. it was really wierd. it lasted a few mins then "he" got off and "she" took off. what the heck happened? this was about 20 mins after lights out tonight.

:perv: certainly possible. they are running on instincts. sounds kinky though.

 did you stare when it happened, or did you laugh??

Hopefully you get babies. Considering they can sell 5$ each, and they could have hundreds of babies... :woot: Good for you they're so popular.

Congrats!!You might be a grandma.I wonder how long it will be before there are babies crawling around?Would have been awsome if you could have got a pic or a vidio clip. Would still be cool to see it.Good luck!!Rick

I would like to say I am sorry for saying anything about "CRAB P**N" earlier in my quote.(moderator deleted it.Said it was inappropriate to say when children might be present)Which I understand completely.Did not think it was any less appropriate than other comments made.(crab RAPE),(HUMPING her)or (sounds KINKY).

You can sex them by looking at the bottom of their main body. A male will look something like this:

They actually have two penises. The females will be more dome shaped in the middle.

And if it took you should see her hauling around an eggsack. If they make it (more then likely will be fish food) it will take 14-20 days for them to hatch.
