My Green Terror has apparently been up to no good. He has injuries on some of his fins, he has a small horizontal cut in his caudal fin, and one in his left pectoral fin. It seems much worse.
He seemed very stressed when I came home, but then I fed him and he perked up. Is there anything I can do to aid his healing?

A lot of people use Melafix or Stresscoat.

Melafix? I will have to read up on that one, I am using stress coat already. he seems back to his normal spirits. Any more advice?
Don't use stress coat it can clog gills. Melafix is the best for healing wounds. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties, but won't harm your biological filter. If there are any signs of a bacterial infection though you should treat with an antibiotic because the melafix probably wont help an existing infection.

We must have been typing at the same time, I didn't even see that you used stress coat. The problem with that is the aloe. Aloe can clog gills with repeated use. Melafix is made from tea tree oil and smells like vics but really speeds up the healing process and seems to be soothing.
