Well I posted earlier when I had purchased a 120 gallon fish tank. I want to thank you guys for all helping me formulate a possible south american cichlid list, however I was swayed by my friend who has a bunch of Africans in his 200 gallon. In the end I went African. Anyways I now would like to make my 45 gallon a central american, call me crazy, but I have to ask, would a JD and a Blue Acara work in this sort of tank?

Blue acara becomes part of your unscheduled menu and JD becomes claustrophobic. ;) lol ok maybe not eaten but the blue acara will definatly be beat up pretty bad if not killed.

So a JD alone can't fit in a 45 gallon?

Ahhhhhh hmmmm, it could I just wouldn't reccomend it. Don't let that be what makes your decision though. It could work out for you. Myself would never go less than a 55 for one.
