View Full Version : Via Aqua feedback request?
Who has experience, good or otherwise, with Via Aqua tanks? I love the looks of that curved-glass front, but I'd like to know more about the company's record for reliability.

I heard someone mention awhile back that Via Aqua pumps are not that reliable. ....Just what I heard..

They are the same company who makes all those junk rio pumps,cheaply made toms reptile stuff and that low end lee,s crap.Hopfully answers your question.
Now to pick apart the larger via aqua tanks the filter system and pump in not enough for most and cannot be upgraded the pumps fail and your nice bright light is only shinning on the front 1/4 of the tank causeing the alge to grow only on the face glass:mad:
I saw one and allmost bought one but started hearing people complane LOTS.
If you want a cool tank, look at the oceanic streched hexes the tanks look sweet on their stands
Your responses are right in-line with my husband's misgivings on this tank. We opted instead for a second-hand 20-gallon hex by All-Glass, and are entirely pleased with our choice.

good choise the all glass has a one piece frame my oceanic is just 6 pieces of trim glued on thats why oceanic hexes dont last long.
