In my 24 gallon tank i have 2 pecular clowns.
The male has been hosting my button polyp for a few weeks now.
Recently the female has been getting very aggressive towards him chasing him away from the polyps and chasing him around the tank.
The poor little thing goes into hiding and eventually comes out only to be chased again.

Why has the female all of a sudden become aggressive towards him?

I would suggest it is just part of the female stamping her dominance onto the male..Nothing to worry about at all, very common between two clown fish..It shall pass when she i happy she has left her mark....

Thanks Niko.

I feel so sorry for the little guy as he is being harassed so much by the female.

Lets hope she calms down soon.:grinyes:
