I haven't had a tank setup in awhile, and am considering an Oceanic 30cube tank for my living room because of its design. I realize it's not the ideal shape for a planted tank, but it would look great where I want to use it. Given that, it only comes with a reflector with one 18" tube. Anybody have one of these tanks? Any suggestions for increasing the light? It is about 20"wx18"dx21"h.

What about gutting the hood and getting a kit from www.ahsupply.com

just an idea. I think a metal halide would be overkill on a tank that size, but for a reef tank thats another story:D

wish I new how to post a link but the aqua lights are far cooler looking and around the same cost A-H supply far less is you dont have or have made a canopy.Plus the way the mount to the rim a couple inches over the rim is awesome.
