I found a rather small Heller's cichlid in my batch of shrimp from the LFS. I am guessing its a Heller and I would post a pic but he is doing a marvelous job of hiding.
Lucky for me and him/her, I have a well established Central American tank but he/she is just too small to let loose within the tank. I have a needle nose to maintain the balance between healthy ecosystem and convict baby factory. I couldn't in good conscious leave it in the Feeder tank so I put it in the African tank which has more fish of his/her age and size.
The poor fish seems to be in shock and I am wondering if anyone has any tips on improving its quality of life?
