Most hardy clear Tetra?

What's everyone's opinion on the relative hardiness of the following fish:

Gold Pristella Tetra
Head & Tailight Tetra
Lemon Tetra

Or any other "clear-bodied" Tetra?

Also, are these types of Tetra generally more or less "hardy" than Platys?

I've learned that Zebra Danios can handle anything. But I don't know about these clear Tetra and Platys.

Danios are very hardy and things have to be almost like a sewer in the tank to kill them. Not that I'm recommending letting your tank get that bad, but they are tough.

I'd say platies are more durable than small bodied tetras and I'm inclined to head and tail lights are slightly sturdier than the other two, but they are so close that none of them really is a clear leader. You're probably going to get differing opininions based on experience of one over the other. I've kept all three and never noticed any difference. None are really fragile though.
 
Bleeding Hear Tetras are very hardy - so are Black Skirt Tetras.

Of those you've listed I would go with the Pristilla Tetras.
 
If you mean to cycle with, don't. I would rather do the simpler and easier task of fishless cycling than having fish with permenant gill damage.
 
Really a matter of opinion - IMO, if you are capable of monitoring your tank conditions and maintaining the tank via proper/timely water changes; there is nothing wrong with a fishy cycle with a few hardy fish.

Cycling with fish is contriversal...Personally I have done a fishy cycle. I would never do another one. To get back on the topic my favorites are black neon tetras and glow lite tetras.
