Since I cleared out nearly all the duckweed, the frogbit has taken over my 30. About one more week, and there won't be any open water left. How about 3/$1, or what would you like to swap for some?
Also have some Najas available.

No azolla, just an excess of frogbit. The only open water left is where the bubbles from the sponge filter come up, the rest of the surface is covered tightly.

No shortage of the stuff, I shipped out more than 50 plants and hardly saw a difference. It's still covering the surface, only now the plants aren't packed together as tightly. Still no open water visible. Incidentally, I sent/will be sending plenty of extra plants just to thin them out a bit.

I'm beginning to suspect it isn't frogbit, but a giant, mutated form of duckweed. :eek3: I've shipped out well over 100 plants, and now it's thicker than ever. Some of the leaves are growing straight up because they're packed together so tightly, and there is no open water to sprinkle food on.

The good thing is, the tiny duckweed that I spent several hours working to eliminate doesn't have a prayer of making a comeback. I've seen a few stray ones here and there, but they don't seem to be multiplying. This stuff would be ideal for keeping small fish from jumping out of an uncovered tank. :tombstone: They'd never get enough momentum to blast through the hairy roots, much less the leaves...

I want some too...do they need co2?

Floaters have no use for CO2 injection, since they get all they need from the atmosphere. Additional CO2 is mainly necessary for growing plants under water that don't actually belong there, but can survive if provided with enough light and CO2 to keep them from drowning. Very few of the plants commonly kept in aquariums are true aquatic plants. Even java moss/fern, Anubias, Amazon swords and Crypt's are actually bog plants in the wild, though they will grow in aquariums w/out CO2 injection or high light levels.

Snail mail $3/priority mail $6, since you're relatively close (5-6 hours drive) priority mail wouldn't be much (if any) faster.
