We seem to have just aquired two of these guys. Does anyone have any ready links to pictures and information on this species. The dudes at the IFS said the tank was mis-labeled and that these fish are rare.

"ve never seent aht scientific name before. Is your fish a loach? if it is does it look like this http://www.loaches.com/species_pages/botia_sp_myanmar.html if so its a Botia "Angelicus" and they are jsut starting to be availiable, so they are fairly rare

That would be our fish, sorry about the mispelling, I coppied it off another persons scrap.

good guess then:D Nice fish, i was thinking of gettign a few last time i was at the store but they were 26$each and i don't have the room for atleast 3 more loaches.
This is the first year they have really been exported. Big demand for them in the loach world. If you check out www.loaches.com forum they always have threads going about them.
