How long until they feed

Hey Guys,

just seeing how long after you've introduced cichlids into your tank do they take to usually being feeding?

Ours eat right along with the others, i feed about 3 hours after introduction.......:)

Interesting. These are the very first cichlids in the tank though they have been in the tank for approximately 24hrs now, and I finally put a few pellets of the Cichlid food I bought. Nothing so far.

Give them a few days. I wouldn't even try feeding them for at least 48 hours.
