I am looking in to purchasing adjustable mounting legs for my Coralife Lunar aqualight. It is the 24" one with 2 linear actinic and white light compact florescent bulbs with 2 LEDs. It is the newer version of the series that Coralife made, the one with hexagonal shaped LED's. I am thinking about purchasing them from

but in the description it says "[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] For use with Coralife Aqualight and Freshwater Aqualight fixtures. The Adjustable Mounting Legs are no longer compatible with the Lunar Aqualights." However on the box it says that it will fit All Lunar Aqualights. Does anyone know if the adjustable legs will fit the newer Lunar aqualights?

Also

I am getting new legs because the ones that the lights came with snapped. Subsequently the lights fell into the tank. My tank is fine but the lights are damaged. I cleaned out the inside very well and took it back the the LFS that I bought it from. They told me that I HAD to contact Coralife directly for warranty. I know that since the light fell in the tank it voids the warranty but I cleaned the inside very well from any salt water and hopefully they wont know that it fell in. I took apart everything, even the ballast and am just letting it dry right now. It seems like the bulbs dont work anymore and I dont know if the ballasts were damaged. One of the LEDs shorted and it doesnt work. what I can do to fix any part of the light?

I looked at replacing all the parts and it will come out to be about $100.
Ballast: $40
2 lights: $50
LED: $10

I paid around 180 for the whole system. Will coralife take it back under warranty and just give me a new one? What can I do at this point? Please give me any insight in what I can do, if anything. THANKS

I am about to get the exact same lighting system and have the exact same question. Is it impossible to get the adjustable legs for the newer models? How well do the standard legs work? Obviously Malicemethods had a bad experience with them. How high above the tank do the standard legs put the lights? Thanks everybody.
