Cichlid food Question

what food is best to feed my bolivian rams? right now they are looking white with only a tint of red on their fins. I went to the LFS a couple of days ago and their bolivians are yellow with all red fins and are looking better than mine. I was thinking Hikari's cichlid gold pellets but wasn't sure. Thank you in advance for the suggestions.

I reccomend New Life Spectrum Cichlid pellets. I use it; the fish love it and I have great colours.

We just switched to Omega food, veggie flakes and cichlid flakes, they also peck at cucumbers, brine shrimp a couple times a week also...:)

So would i, he sounded definite tho,,, we're going to try some of tho's NLS pellets when the stuff we have runs out.........:)

I think at times my fish eat better than I do they have a staple flake diet, occasional freeze dried tubiflex worms, brine shrimp, micro worms, veggies on occasion, and bascilly anything else they might like

well I went to the LFS with intentions to try the omega and New Life Spectrum but didn't find either so I got the Hikari Gold Med Pellets for right now. The rams seem to enjoy it a little more than my regular food (TetraColor Granules.) Thanks for all the great suggestions.

hikari gold has a good reputation too...try and get your hands on the NLS and you won't look back !

variety is the key
