cat fish has slim

our cat fish has some kind of slim on him - everyone else in that tank seem fine - this has been going on for nearly a week now
can anyone tell me what it is and how to take care of it? :help:

Ok, the usual...How big is the tank? What's in it? What species of "catfish" is it? What are your water params? Was the tank cycled? What is your maintenece schedule like?
