how long have you had the angel fish? Also once the angel fish gets big enough it might eat you guppy.

What is happening is normal for angelfish. They are trying to establish dominance, and a 10 gallon tank is much too small. This will get worse as they get larger. :( They really need a larger tank if you can afford it... but I've seen some of your posts and I know that you are still young and living at home so that may be tough for you. Also, I'm not surprised that they have been nipping at the guppy. They can be a bit aggressive, and this is more of a problem in a smaller tank. You may have to separate the angels and guppies if you can, and you'll probably need to separate the angels from each other. If you don't have another tank that you can move an angel into, then I would recommend a tank divider as a temporary solution until you can find something better to do. At least then they won't be beating each other up.
BTW, I doubt if your angel is a true altum. They are a different species (pterophyllum altum) than the regular angels that you see in the LFS (pterophyllum scalare). There are lots of varieties of angels that have red eyes- my big beautiful veil angel that I recently lost had red eyes as well. From what I gather, you pretty much need to contact a breeder or maybe some online stores or Aquabid to find true altums, and they can be quite pricey.
