I am so excited. I have 6 N. multifasciatus being shipped out tomorrow. I ordered from Alloddballaquatics.com. Great price and quick shipping. I will be sure and post pics after I get them settled. Wish me lots of luck!

Well you are very welcome.

I didn't specify sex. I figure with 6 I'll at least get one of each.
and if not, well I'm not really breeding them anyway.
I am so excited. I have to do a water change today in case they come tomorrow, but it will probably be Wednesday (out in the boonies!)

Thats what i was told to do too...in order to get what i want anyway sex wise. The reason i wanted to order by sex is that they really on work well with a certain ratio of males to females, im not planning on breeding intentionally, if they do great, but i just dont want huge territory issues. Im getting 2 females and 1 male for my 7g minibow...im so excited!

I rec'd an e-mail saying they would be here before 3 on Wed. He also said he threw in an extra one at no charge. Now that's service.:D

thats freakin awesome! I have been everywhere in town looking for them, and most of the dumbshi** dont even know what they are...or even what a shell dwelling cichlid is, so im kinda stuck with the online option. I have always been skeptical about online live fish ordering, but b/c they have a guarantee it shouldnt be bad i guess. How much did your total amount come out to be with the 6 fish and shipping? just curious so i know what to keep in the bank and not spend.

I went to the LFS first and asked about them. They wanted to order for me and said it would be $14 each if I came and picked them up as soon as they came in. WAY TOO MUCH!

So Alloddballaquatics had them for $5 each. 6 fish, box, and heat pack was $60. (not counting the free one!) So, it was a much better deal this way. I emailed them a couple of times, asking about water parameters and feedings, and always had a response in a few hours. So far, they are definately the way to go.

I wish I would have found them before I decided on lamprologus brevis from aquariumstuffers.com, but oh well. We can compare the two skitty :).

They are HERE! All arrived alive. I am floating them and dripping in tank water. This will take FOREVER! The pH they arrived in was about 7.6. My tank stays about 8.4. Oh well. They are so tiny. I have 2 large ones and the rest are about fingernail lenghth (mine-a woman's...maybe some mens!) They have huge mouths to be so small. I'll take some pics in a few days. I plan on leaving the lights off for today and tomorrow.

WOOHOO!:D
