would a full grown DP do well with 3 danios in a heavily planted 5g cube?

my experience was that the DP nipped all 4 of my danios fins. And by nip, i mean the WHOLE tail fins was gone. So i had to get rid of the danios.

leave it by itself in the 5 gallon
