Quick All GLASS aquarium silicone Question

i went to my pet store and found a 10.3 oz tube of this stuff it wus the last tube they had

so im wondering if this tube will be enough just to to glue the paynes of glass together not do the inside seams just use it to put the tank together? and ill use a GE brand to do the inside seams and bracing do you think this 1 tube will be enough to put the glass together if the tank is 6 1/2 ft long x 2 ft wide x 1 1/2 ft tall? do u think this tube will be able to do 2 6 1/2 ft long beads + the side panel beads???? also how big would the bead have to be?


i would set the beads like this would 1 tube be able to bead a 78x24x18? like this

there was already a big argument about sittin on top of the bottom or being attached around the bottom and people do it either way my tank isnt big its just long i just wanna know how thick of a bead i would have to run to silicone a 78"x24"x18 to get the tank together (not doing the inside seams ) just getting the vertical paynes up how big the bead and could 1 10.3 oz tube do the beads like in the pic i sent

1 tube of 10.1 oz at 3/16 bead will do 50 linear feet thats like taking a 50 ft long peice of glass and running 1 straight 3/16 bead all the way down it, that would take one tube, and my tank for the bead im gonna do it like it looks in the pic i posted above and with my tank dimensions that = out to about 30ft of 3/16 bead all together a guy said he built his 6ft long with only 1/8 bead and thats the smallest bead you can go the glass is 1/4" thick so dont you think 3/16 bead would be fine

and this aquarium silicone is 10.3 so i even got .2 more silicone lol

i just calculated the bead on the glass and its going to take 23FT give or take a few globs would only be about 30 linear ft used out of 50 linear ft

1 tube seems enough for that and after the tank is up ill use GE I windows and doors 100% silicone rubber sealant to seal the inside seems since this stuff is only $3.84 for 1 tube and ALOT of people reseal their inside seams with this

plus lol the all glass aquarium silicone is 10.3 oz so that gives me .2 more oz of silicone haha so all in all ill be able to do my tank with a 3/16 bead and have about 20 ft of 3/16 bead left in the tube which is good cuz i dont wanna pay 10$ for another tube which i couldnt if i wanted to cuz i got there 1 and only tube that was left and i dont wanna wait for the new shipment so ill join the paynes with a 3/16 bead using the ALL-GLASS AQUARIUM stuff and then do the inside seams with GE I windows and doors does that sound good?
