I'm going to bring these home tonight will take 6 but I'm not sure if their are one or two speices in the tank some have pattened spots and some have blochy spots any way they are 5" and growing dark black with oval white spots in pairs all the way down the body.Others are the same thing just non-uniform spots(bloches) I well respected member of the aquarium club showed me our missmarked fish and told me they are very rare and he thought they were called Botia Aginlistica (sp) Any Ideas guys and gals they are marked 14.99

There are many types of Loaches out there. Check out www.loaches.com They do have many pics of the varieties of Angelicus botia. See if that one is it. The price seems right. I paid that amount for my 3. BTW, they are a very nice additition! they come out in the light and have a personality. My 2 YoYo's "play" with them also. Just for your reference. The Angelicus Botia is a newely discovered species and this year is the first year it was shipped out of thailand in mass quantities (not HUGE, but more than a few..)

Hey at 14.99 get em they can sell for as much as 45 us each sometimes.. The fish you are describing is called botia Angelicus. They are new on the market this year from Myannmar in thailand/burma area. They are quite beautiful and very outgoing. I have 3 presently as well as 35 other loaches. They are great community fish ,don't even bother my platy fry.http://www.loaches.com/species_images/botia_sp_myanmar_11_small.jpg
