I have a beautiful 5" Taiwan Reef(p. steveni) from lake malawi. He lost a scale about a month ago(apparently, from a run in with a 6" azeureus).
Originally, it started to heal over well(when I added Maroxy and Melafix) but I discontinued these products thinking he was OK. But the damaged area started to show slight signs of fuz(nothing cottony though).
I started treatment again, and stopped because I ran out of medicine. Now he's almost healed here, but he seems to have this white stuff on the same side towards the tail....
I don't want to lose this fish. he's behaving normally and eating well.
What is this? (I can put a photo up later)... should I remove him to a hospital? No other fish in the tank are affected, and as I said, he's acting normal and is a pig at feeding time.
