My buddy frank currently works at my LFS, pet connection, but he is leaving in 6 weeks time to take a gamble and start up his own LFS.
All his plans are starting to come togather and the wheels are in motion, the only thing he hasn't decided on is a name for the new store, he asked me, but the best i can think of is Franks for fish tanks ,I dont think he was very impressed.
Then i came up with the aquaria super store, not bad but not what he was looking for.
So now i am asking the guys at AC for thier ideas on a new name for Franks LFS, All ideas greatly appreciated.

Just a fish store? We used to have a Fish and Friends. We have a Just for Pets, and a PetMax. How about Incredipet or Incredifish.

We have a lfs here. I do all my business there. How about Aqua Zoo? That is the name of this lfs.

Fishy Business.
I like to keep things simple....
"Frank's" sounds good to me. The name Frank, IMO, connotes an "old school" sense of honesty and integrity....no need for extras.
"H20 life HQ"
"Aqua-brain"
"pet box"
"Aqua box"
EDIT: you guys can't bust my balls for this lol they were quickly thought up :p

I like stores with people's names in them, so here goes:
Frankly Fish
Frank's Exotic Fish
Frank's Tropical Fish
Eventually, everyone will just say - "hey, why don't we go to Frank's tonight?"

Frank O' Fin

I like jayhawks idea, because there is a Jacks aquarium and pets around here that I always say "stop by Jacks on the way home" Names always work. I have a pretty original one now though.
"pet store" :D can't get anymore original than that.

Actually optix "The pet store" is the name of my LFS lol. It was said before but I like wetter is better. Or Frank's wet world or Frank and his fish (now that one is pathetic)

The Waterboy
That's High Quality H20
Waterworld
Pisces Waterworld
Neptune's Domain
Neptune's Waterworld
Age of Aquarius
Domain of Aquarius (or D.O.A. probably not the best acronym for a fish store, though)
Little Critters
Frank's Pets

I'm going to side with the pro-name camp, but I can't believe no one came up with Frank's Tanks yet…
There was apparently an LFS here in NYC that was just a listing in the phone book by the time I tried to find it. I always liked the name… A-fishy-anado.

Aquadic adictions
Mom&Pop pet shop
oh man I got to go to bed
Open a multi use building a bakery till noon then a pet shop till night and call it Fritters&Critters
And for the record I like frankly fish But tagging it with your name sucks when you want to sell it years latter IMO I'd play it safe and call it (your citys name)pet shop
Allso there is a lot of money in grants and loans to open shops like that in certain areas I saw a 21 yr old get 250,000 in grants and no interest loans to open a shop.

Frank's Tanks is cute, but I agree with the naming issue. He'll have problems if he later decides to sell.
Water's Edge

On The Wetter Side
The Wet Spot (though maybe not a family name ;) )

Jaws

The city is named Newry and is the newest city in Ireland.
Newry only acheived it's city status last year.
Cheers.
