I've seen this little guy crawling the back glass the last few days. Finally he wandered to the side glass so I could get a good photo.

And here is is with the Zebra turbo nearby for comparison. The zebra is about 2.5" in diameter.

The new snail looks kind of like a turbo with it's whorled shell. Has little spiroid worms on it's shell as well. Anyone every found a baby like this in your tank? I have had turbos, margaritas, zebra turbos and stomatellas in the tank. This one I'm guessing is just a hitchiker that has finally decided to show itself.

I have seen a lot of these, or something similiar, come off my LR (none as big as yours). I'm guessing little Nerite snails...

He is a cute little guy. With the fish out of the tank right now I'm noticing all sorts of things that had escaped me before. The pod population is something that is mutiplying as well. The fish are going to be in pod candy heaven when they return.

Does it have red bands on it? If so, it's probably a Trochus. Very cool snails.

I don't think so but not certain. I can't check now because the darn thing isn't out where I can spot him.
