I got a crowntail betta and purchased a 10gal tank for him. While getting the tank, I purchased 2 snails. I put them in the 55g since my husband lost his freaking mind when I brought home the tank complaining about the extra $5 monthly cost in our electric and water bill. (I can't wait until he gets the nerve to buy another power tool...I will take that sucker back to the store so fast he will regret ever messing with me and my decisions - just had to vent a minute to people to get why I had to get him a "tank for one fish" (<--- the jerk I have for a husband's exact words)
Anywho - these snails are just the cutest little guys. They are all over the tank. Can't believe I haven't gotten any before now.

LOL...my wife says similar things...not those exact words...but still...

Are they Mystery Snails? I love mine too!

One is a mystery snail. The other has a black and tan swirled shell. I was so irritated at the 30 minute fight one 10g tank caused that I forgot to keep the paper with the name of the snails on it. STUPID spouses!!!!!!!!!!!! They need to get over themselves!!!

*cough* snails, 1 latter rung on the evolutionary ladder above slugs right? Not sure if I would use the word "cute" j/k ;)

Glad you like em!

P.S.

What's wrong with power tools!

I have no problem with power tools, I use them too but if I have to catch hell for getting a 10gal tank (which is something I love) then he is going to catch hell for another power tool (which he loves). Since I had to take my tank back to the store, I will return his power tool with a big fat smile on my face.

Still angry if you can't tell.:mad2:

yep, snails are cute :grinyes: they have very personable faces

please do tell us when you take one of his things back :grinyes:

Wait...you had to take the 10 gallon tank back to the store? Bummer... Us guys...we suck. :)

I've found that if I take my wife to the store with me and let her pick out a couple of fish (I let her know which ones she can and cannot pick) then it helps.

Her, "Look at this great goldfish with the buggy eyes"
Me, "No, we can't get that one and put it any of the tanks we have. However, if you want me to set up a goldfish tank for you...I will" (Grinning)
Her, "Um...no." Later... "Look at these two yellow fish and two black and white fish."
Me, "Yes we can get them. The yellow ones go in the big tank and Dalmation Platties go in the 30 gallon tropical comminity tank." Grinning... :)

See, I get my way by leading her into it. :)

...then she wants to change out the friggen rock on the 125 gallon tank!!!!@#!#!@#!@#!@#!#@!@~@@!#$#@$%#!$@!#! <--string of cuss words.
