New filter??? or repair???

I was given a magnum 350 pro filter,that needs hoses,gaskets,and new impellor assembly....I can get all this for 50 bucks...or I can take the 50, and get something else....

Question #1 Would you fix???

Question #2 Would you buy new???

Question #3 What could you get for 50.00, that would be decent for a 55gal freshwater community???

I would not spend a dime to fix a magnum,
just get a AC110 & call it a day.

I never really liked the bio wheel...had problems in the past

You can find those pieces cheaper than $50. A Mag is worth more than all those junk HOBs put togrther.

I was given a 50.00 dollar gift card to spend on myself, so I thought I would use it to get the old 55 up and running....with the tubeing I'm at around 37.00
